Hey all! was lovely to speak to u on the phone the other morning.. i was in need of a good chin wag with home! So todayl was my day off, after sleeping on the beach last night and hearing two bobcat like things fighting, which was actualy really really scary we were all pretty tired. We decided we were gona head up to a place up near yosemite called skinny dip, not sure why its called that, and no i didnt!! So we got up there at about 11 ish. Its an amazing place, a river flowing over huge stone slabs and a massive waterfall. We hung out there for most of the day, jumping off the waterfall etc. It was so beautiful, and cos it took about 30mins on a dirt track then 20 min walk it was also completely secluded and private. we had an awesome day there just hanging out. Then we set off back towards camp and stopped by at the lodge, the hotel we sneek in. for an hour or two in the hot tub. All in all a really great day off. Tonight we just crashed in the palace and watched a movie, notes on a scandle or something? Was great. Still cant find that password mum, but im gona keep on looking! sorry!! Hope all is still well at home? missing u all but still having a fab day. Lots of love to u all! xxxxxxxxxx

sounds beautiful and amazing as usually you jammy devil! lol. had a slight bit of nice weather yesterday.. thought id brought the bulgarian sun back with me but it would seem not
was chatting to one of the people who works in the hostel on msn today and they too were making me very jealous!! i was like remind me why i came home exactly!! lol. no chance of topping my tan up here (yes believe it or not reas i do have one!! lol) so thank god only a week and a bit til fuerteventura!
you're looking rather tanned it has to be said - had a peek at those facebook pics! looking good mate! arrived back yest after my sleepless night in gatwick and still havent managed to get all my pics up yet! hoping to get them all on before i go to bristol in the morn, which i hear is also flooded so should be interesting! at least i wont leave looking like a tomato as we did last year!! v excited all the same and i've grown quite attached to my anorak after having 2weeks of rain in central europe so it's all good!
saw lou today - not seen her since salzburg 2weeks ago so was lovely to see her! missed her like mad after spending 24/7 with her for 2and a half weeks.. had lots to catch up on! her and sarah fell out in italy and sarah said she would've rather spent the last part with me soon as we got on so well!!! can you believe it?! that's a turn up for the books innit. we did get on well in the end, but that was mean to say to lou!
heather had a bit of a sulk with me at the end... long story, im sure ill tell you some day, but it's all good and we've got this weekend to clear the air. i can't be bothered with fallings out or whatever anymore, so i just apologised (although i havent a clue what id really done!!) and moved on. best way i reckon!
gutted to be back home, it's going to be soooo bad for you coming back after 3months. seriously if i had the money id pack my rucksack (love that thing!!) and set off again by myself.. no sweat. loved every every every second!! cannot stress that enough. think it's done me the world of good before uni with confidence and independence etc. can't wait to go!! you're going to come away with so many friends, cs i've made some friends for life after getting on with people and then making it so our paths crossed again in other countries, so for you spending all that time with people. i've spent my day emailing them all back and chatting to them all on msn and planning where we can all meet next summer! there was only one girl i really really clicked with and she wants me to go backpacking with her over next summer which would be sooo ace! i love her! she's a 24year old aussie who was travelling with her brother (who's equally ace!) and her dad lives in singapore... so we're thinking of starting in australia, visiting singapore and then doing europe again! america can wait... i've not come away with the best impression of them all - ooooh the stories reas the stories! you're going to have so many, especially when you leave the camp and start seeing more of america! can't believe how many countries we fit in. mental. i'm glad i did eastern europe as it's so cheap. i did 4.5weeks and spent £600 spending money wise... as in food and accomodation and whatever i did day/night, lou spent £750 in just 3weeks!! italy was really expensive for her. hostels were like £20 a night.. we were paying a fiver! good hey? lol.
just realised my comment is longer than your blog!! lol. so i think i may shut up now! im still on a high and just want to jump on a train so im glad i leave tomorrow! back mon, then going to newc with lou to check out my halls for 2days and then back to work... least ill have a lot to talk about!! lol.
hope all's well in the potter/reas household - hello to you all!
see you mate!

Hello Tom. Are you just the luckiest person? Here we all are soaking wet through no choice of are own and there you are soaking wet by choice and in, what sounds like, heaven. It was fantastic to talk to you the other day. So nice to hear your voice again. So we saw Steve and Galia, Romie and Danniel yesterday (Thurs) . We had a great time just hangging out. Met them at their hotel in Ross On Wye (about 1 hour fron Cardiff) and sat in the garden drinking tea and catching up. My friendship with Steve is one of those where you just pick up from where you last left off. No embarrasing silences etc. I guess that means we are really good mates? They were meeting Rosie for the first time and she turned on all the charm (of course). They asked how you were getting on at Camp America and said, with no promting at all, that you should go and stay with them when you are in NYC. I said you would be travelling with a friend and they said '"the more the merryer" so you should defo call them when you know what you are doing. I gave you their number didn't I??? Got the plasterers in as I write. Old bathroom comming out and new one going in this weekend. We managed to knock through from the bathroom into another room (20 inch wall!!!) so now we have/will have a big walk in shower like the one in B'ton.
Loves Ya !!!!! Pop's xxxxx -

lol, mum has just about stopped, but she keeps saying she's lost me because i've gone all independent on her! she's happy though, as i was meant to be going to t4 this weekend.. got to leeds this morning to find out trains aren't running any further than birmingham because of the weather
so we've lost a lot of money, but mum gets me home for a bit longer! lol. i've got lots of stories to tell and i def want to share them! me and reas were saying we should have a big story exchange when he's back.... he's only home for 5days though before i go to uni! i really did have a very fab time... gutted to be back to settle really (as much as i love the gang!).
hope all's well xxxxxxxx

Hi Tom. Wow that sounds to have been an amazing day. Sounds like Lost without all those silly people and wild polar bears from another planet and underground nuclear bunkers and things.
we're batoning down for terrible weather here. Severe weather warnings for the weekend. one poor family from sheffield who got flooded out at home, went to their caravan at Filey to get away and have a break and guess wot happenend - caravan at Filey got flooded out. it really is bonkers this year.
eviction night tonight on BB. I'm completely hooked !!!! That's bonkers too me thinks !!!
Full day at Poppies today for which i need to summons all my strength and cerebral wot-nots !! But hey, it does me good !!
It was really wonderful chatting to you on the phone too. you sounded as if you were in the next room.
Think I'm going to be Assistant District Commissioner (Cubs and Beavers) so watch out baden powell. quite excited really. if i pass all my training i get a little wooden woddle to wear. Now that is reward for hard work - all i got from uni was a rolled up bit of paper - it could have been a copy of the Beano for all the world knows but a little wooden woddle..................
Natty finishes school today for the summer. it's 'own cloths with no charge' he says. He's off to walk Hadrians Wall in a week with the Explorers so Carl and I might get a few days away - maybe north Wales or somewhere.
right my love. must get ready for the big day at poppies sandwich and coffee emporium - it's such a laugh !
can't find 'skiny dip' so it must be a local name for it. keep being happy. loads of cuddles. moi le mutty xxxxxx
