hellllloooooo! How are you all?! So the days have been going by without me noticing much at the moment, its been pretty lazy for me and brendan as we are both on relief so we spend ALOT of time down at the docks just chilling out which is really great. Our travel plans are coming together amazingly, heres what it looks like so far:
11th august we head to vegas with erin
16th fly to San Fransico and stay with Kim
20th we go over to Berkeley to stay with brian in his apartment
22nd to Katies house to stay and see more of San Fran
24th In san jose with kim again
28th we are getting a lift up to LA with kims mum cos kims going to college there
3rd we are going to head over to New York city, and gona try real hard to stay with steve. I gather that he says its cool for us to do that, but im gona ring ahead obviously.
Home on the 10th, not sure how long we can stay at steves before it becomes cheeky/rude, advice on this would be great!!!
SO so far it looks so so great, of course its always open for change, but weve got alot of free transport and acommodation with that plan so that looks really great. I put a few pics up on facebook last night for u all to see, now u can see them my new found friend mum!! Not an awful lot to report on life here, just chugging along as i said. ALways with a big big smile on my face, still loving it more than ice cream. Gona head off now, love u all lots and lots and lots. xxxx

just back and will finish off properly..!
Bumped into Bal on the way out hanging out of his little van clutching a copy of the Guardian - he thought Natty had mis-delivered 'a' paper. Turns out he'd picked up the wrong round and mis-delivered the lot. got to love him. he is a star in the celestial skies of 'crazy-lovelies' !!! think yer nan's one of those stars too Tom. Rung them the other night and she thought she'd cut me off but she hadn't - so i hear this conversation between her and grandad "i missed it, you should have got it, ring her back, i'll have to check it was her first....." I'm shouting, "I'm here, it's me..". When i eventually got her back and related the story that i heard them talking etc..... she says, "well if heard all that you would have heard me phone 1471 to find out if it was your number....." !! Give me strength.....
Right now i'm going to walk our Mols and prepare myself for a morning at the happy poppy farm. Told 'him' Tom Lewton and i want a non-smoking smoking break as him and jane bradley seem to need 5 smoking breaks an hour and we don't get any such thing.... He nearly smiled.!!!!
Enjoy, enjoy, be happy and bright. look forward to more pics. It's not raining yet..
peace, love and ice cream..

Hello Tom. This is Magali calling. This is my first bling...blag...blog message!!! (I am not even going to pretend to be cool and groovy about my computer know-how (unlike some people...) I know my place is in the 'old farts' category. Still one is never too old to learn and I thought it would be nice to speak to you direct. It's been lovely getting daily news about how happy you are in Camp A-me-i-ka (Rosie's prononciation). We are all so delighted, here that you're having such a great time. We are also missing you loads. So much so that Rosie grabbed her suitcase today (she has a new bright green suitcase that we bought her to go to France) and declared that she was off to see you in A-me-i-ka. Your travel plans sound really exciting. I don't know if your Dad has had a chance to tell you yet, but we saw Steve + Galia last week, who were staying in Ross-on Wye, not far from Cardiff. They said that you (+ a friend) are definitely welcome and that they would love to see you. They are still as nice and laid back and their kids are great too (Romy, 12 and Daniel, 8). Rosie and Romy got on like a house on fire. Romy is really, really sweet, and extremely clever too (not in a nerdy way, more in an imaginative and inspiring way). In fact I have been thinking how lovely it would be if you married her. I don't mean now, of course - she is only 12, but in about 15 years, when you both are in marrying age... Just a thought anyway.
We are (slowly) making progress on the house. We are still at a stage of being surrounded by card board boxes and spending our time looking for things. But still, being able to run water from a kitchen sink or sit on a sofa with a cup of tea feel like a total luxury. Terry, (who now lives with us - a bit surreal - but more details on this later) is working on the bathroom, so by the time you get back we should be able to provide you with the utmost comfort. I have found a nice pink color called "Pink Lemonade" for Rosie's room, but the 2 year old / teenager that she is has now decided that she wants her room to be painted black. She is a bit of a teenager sometimes but she is also very, very cute. One of her favorite thing currently is to be told made-up stories at bed-time. I am sure that your american adventures will provide plenty of material for good stories (snake bites, ambulances etc... the more noises, the more she loves it). More news on the domestic front: we have been able to start our "roast on sundays" tradition again. Yesterday, your Dad cooked the most delicious welsh lamb and perfect fluffy potatoes: it was"melt in the mouth" succulent. Sorry Tom I don't mean to make you feel home sick by telling you this, but you are having such a great time in America and i thought you might need reminding of the good things you can look forward to when you come back to the UK (just in case you get any ideas about staying there...).
Anyway that's all from me, for now. Have fun in the jungle and don't let the Yosemite bug bite. Lots of love. Magali -

Hey b!
Not much to tell after my lengthy message the other day!! lol. so in newcastle today with my best girl lou.. nice to spend some time with her again! we've just come up to pack all her stuff up as soon as she's in carlisle next year. we're both oor now though so we've spent the day packing the car and being lazy as we left at 8 this morning so we're too tired tobe proactive! think we're going to go and look at my accomodation this noon - did i tell you i never got my en-suite one?! i was gutted at the time, but after sharing a bathroom with random people for the past month (and some have not been that nice, especially on sleeper trains!!) i no longer have a problem with it! and its much cheaper which means i can save more for my future travels! yay! roll on next summer hey! going out for tea tonight... in happy hour so the oods cheaper! still cant get used to english prices, i think they should introduce eastern european prices over here. be much better, obviously not in terms of the economy, but def for me!
your plans sound amazing fella. proper so. it's great how cheap you're going to be able to do it.. cheap is good! make sure you take lots of pics.. plenty of people, because as i have found sights do not make for good viewing as pics! lol. they seem amazing at the time, but by the time you're explaining the 15th pic of the same one, they're really not. plus, i've somehow managed to forget what they all of aswell! lol. i know what country they are in, but that's about it!
anyway, best get off now and stop being a slob! lol. newcastle is waiting to be explored... may have to pop into primark!
love you xxxxxxxxxx
p.s. who is this 12 year old magali talks of?! lol. does she not realise that we are pratically married?! am i not intelligent enough?! hahahaha!! awwww... give rosie a big kiss and cuddle love me!
p.p.s i agree jane that you should get non-smoking breaks, that always annoys me that ssmokers get special allowances! how is that fair?! i think you should pretend that you have started smoking!!
toodle-pip mateypeeps... missing you! xxx -

Hello Jade,
Don't worry about the 12 year old that's got nothing to do with inteligence and more to do with Magali's strange sense of hummour plus the fact that Rommie (the 12 year old) is the daughter of a jewish princess and therfore hier to a fortune!!!!!! Your trip sounded great? Look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories sometime soo. Good luck at Uni. Hello Tom how's it going???? Luv's Ya!

Hey!
Wow! A jewish princess... maybe i'll have to try my luck with daniel, of course again in 15 years! lol. Had a really amazing amazing time - shame i had to come home! If only i had the money...! You might regret saying that Paul... i took nearly 2000!! That added to all the ones i imagine Tom will be taking should add up to at least 3 days of solid photo viewing, all, of course, with explainations!!
I would love to show them to you all though! Thank you, looking forward to uni very much now!
Hope all's well in the welsh land!
xxxx

travel plans seem ace of spades. do you have your flight dtails yet? seem to remember that camp america sent them to you about now.
is it ok you not doing much in camp now or do you have things to do at certain times. do you think Mr P will have you all back or do you have other ideas for next year ?
had lunch at 13 on saturday and V was a very good waitress (thanks V). working in Poppies is like working in a funeral directors by comparison.
