So today was my day off, we decided we would head off into Yosemite. That place never ever fails to take my breath away completely. We found a nice little beach on the merced river and decided to go swimming and hang out. We ended up jumping off a road bridge into the river which was really good fun, exept when we hit the bottom of the river, which hurt a bit!! A few of the other guys went with cher and her boyfriend to do this rope swing off el capitain. That sounded and looked completley crazy so we decided to go on a rengade day off and have relaxing beach picnic followed by a sneak in to Tenaya Lodge for a jacuzzi and heated pool. Had a really awesome day though. The end of camp is coming up really fast. I feel like camp is like a song that you love so much you want to listen to it again before its even finished. Im so exited about seeing more of the US after camp, ut at the same time leaving this place is going to break my heart. Feeling so torn at the moment. Im sure everything will work out just fine. Brendans gona try and come and get a job at the buck inn too, which will be completly wierd but also really really cool. I shall believe it when i see it but he really really wants to see the uk. Im gona go to aus with him sometime next year i think, should be awesome. Aniways, the q for the comp is growing longer and longer. Lots of love to u all... xxxxxx

Like i say... make the most of it all! You've still got another couple of weeks yet, don't start thinking about the end, as then you end up almost counting down the days and it goes quicker. I did that, to start with i was taking it a day at a time and not even thinking about when i was coming home and then when Heather arrived, because she was missing Ian, she was like ooo 12days to go!!!! I was like noooo please dont do that! The worst was in the last week as when you've got 5days left, you start thinking that that's it, but it really really isn't!! So make the most of every last day and don't dwell because look at how long you've had there and the amazing time you have had! You're just moving on to the next stage of your 'American Adventure'! lol.
So is Brendan australian? Or an american just wanting to see australia?! I'm going down under next summer (i tell you this already?!) with Vee and Kate and stopping with family and the people i met for a month... then hopefully going to Singapore with Talia for a week or 2, then back to europe to do the countries i never saw this time round again with t.... which means i've got some serious saving on my hands!! money sucks truely! lol. well either that or some serious rading of my piggy bank... what am i saving for right reas?! lol.
that'd be v cool for you if Brendan came over - he can have my room if he likes soon as it'll be empty?!!! hahaha!
anyway, thank god we're going away next week, this place is doing my nut and im missing you lots atm
on a sad note... mrs simpson's really bad - me and lou went to visit her in hospital as she was asking mrs bradley about us both. it was horrible, really horrible. louise never said anything so it was left to me and i felt everything i said was the wrong thing.. like i said i think me and lou were really naive before this trip, and she says you mean im naive, i said no, i am... and she said well i must be cs ive never done that. well what do you say to that? i just said that not everyone would enjoy lugging a huge rucksack round and that shes been really lucky to have children and find love and have an amazing career and stuff. i think she saw my point. then i was on about uni, and she said i better make sure i do go for her, then she was asking how long and went all reflective when i said 4 years, because im not sure she can even look 4days down the line? pete and cath metcalfe came so we left which made it easier. lou was really uncomfortable, im so glad i can talk a lot. but, yea, sorry, just wanted to chat to you about that, cs we werent sure wed done the right thing, but lou rang her mum (whos in aus atm)and she was saying that mrs s had been saying it would be lovely to see us and she likes people coming and telling her things as she gets lonely, so that made us feel better. really makes you put things into prospective.

Tom it sounds so amazing. I wish I could be there with you to see it too, but because you describe it so brilliantly in your blog it's like being there anyhow. Don't get too upset about end of camp. You still have a lot of time left and also some incredible places to see and experiences to have. Your sis has got a new expression for a fart! She calls it a "bottom-beep". carlos and i off on our adventures in the morning. carl is taking his laptop so we can look at pics etc. so will try and check in on your blob-site..! weather forecast is quite good so we might get a bit of sunshine which would be nice for us but great for natty on hadrian's wall as it would be awful for him to be wet for 5 days.
had a lovely, lovely visit from jade and V on friday and heard lots of tales of euro states. loads of adventures for you to hear about. sorry we didn't offer you a cuppa girls - just couldn't stop listening.!!!!!!
can't wait to see a few more pics and hear some more news/plans/happenings.

Hello T,
It's Monday mornning here and guess what???? The sun is shinning for the first time in 5 weeks!!!! Hard to belive eh? I guess you are so use to the idea of waking up every day and nowing that the weather will be good. Anyhow we had a day off yesterday as "Are Terry" has gone back to Bfd for a few days so no work ont thouse. We whent for a drive up through the Brecon Beacons and to Brecon itself. I thought it would be nice to show Magali a bit of the "beutifull Welsh" landscape as she still has a bit of a downer on Cardiff. Too many drunks etc. So we ended up in Brecon-having got lost on the way and ending up on a council estate (I'm like a homing pidgion me)-the first thing we see is what looks like a nice pub with a garden. It turns out to be full of hells angels, one of whom is so blathered he has fallen asleep on the garden wall which has a twenty foot drop down to the river!!!!!! Rosie thought it was funny at least, "look daddy man sleeping". Rosie is trying to use a potty now. She was a bit reluctant at first and would only sit for a couple of sec's. Yesterday she sat on it for about five min's on the bathroom floor and feeling very proud of herself, although she didn't leave a gift. She waited untill she was stood up to do that and promtly pooped on the floor!! Sorry to all you readers of this blog for the detail. The scaffold is still up at the front of the house. Our neighbour said, "it's been there for three years and I have never seen anybody on it". Don't see that much of John the builder now since Terry arrived (think he must be scared). Got to go to Uni now. Love you to bits and missing you loads.
