Hello all! Im gona keep this nice and brief cos ive rung home quite a bit recently so you all kinda know whats going on i guess. And im incredibly tired! So since me and mr blog last spoke Ive had 260 bucks stolen, which is always fun! Moved hotel, walked an average of 10,000 miles a day and seen lots and lots of new york! We woke up the morning we got robbed, checked out of the dive hotel and walked our bags over the block to the new nicer one, checked in and then hit 5th ave hard. We spent that day wandering about looking at 5th ave and all the shops. We then strolled into central park and had a look around, watched a baseball match and chatted to some old folk from just outside of york. It was very nice and when we got back to the hotel it was like arriving in luxury as it was so so much nicer than the crack house that we stayed in the night before, and from where i write this from cos they have cheap internet access! So today we have done alot more walking, we walked up 5th to central park, then back down, all the wa down broadway, past the flatiron, through china town (saw the frogs in the buckets again) and walked all the way back up town, just caught the underground for the last bit of it. So weve had a very tiring day, we had a little afternoon nap then we went out for dinner at bubba gumps shrimp house. Its a place based on forest gump the movie, kinda cheesy but quite nice. The plan was to go to boston tommorow but i dont think we are gona bother cos theres still loads to see here and it would mean getting a very dodgy bus from chinatown which we aint keen on. Also the girl who we would be staying with wants to come back here with us afterwards but we were planning on staying with shevani for the last few nights, but if sydney(boston girl) comes back we cant really do that.. all v complicated but im happy with staying here. I love it to bits. Plan is to go up the empire state tommorow night i think, got to try and extend our stay at the hotel by two nights also, the receptionist says that at the mo there are no vacancies but some should have come up by the morning! All seems very hit and miss but we shall see.. so tommorow may be dedicated to finding somwhere to stay, but it may not! Also gona go try see some more of central park and the dakota building etc.. we shall see. Dad, if mum says thats all fine then ill defo go buy that stuff for you, depending on the size of it all cos space is pretty tight as it is.. as in no room but ill defo try! right, sorry this must seem really distant but im sure ive told both mum and dad most things anyway?! lots of love to everybody! xxxx

Yes! First again!!!! T it dosen't sound distant. You are right you have told us loads on the phone. So, as far as me and mum are concerned, we are right up to speed. Sorry to all you other readers. Tom I will speak to mum today about that stuff and then blog you (is that the right expression? ). Some suggestions for N.Y visits. At Times Square you can catch a tour bus (I knoe it sounds naff-but isn't) and go uptown to Harlem. It's realy interesting to see a different kind of N.Y and it is safe. I've done it a few times ( bus only once) but I have been up to Harlem quite a bit on the subway. Tonight (Wed) is amature night at the Apolo Theatre ( The place where all-and I mean all-the major stars of black music first played). Anybody you can name (Marvin-Stevie-Al Green etc etc all performed for the very first time at the Apolo on amature night). I've always missed it so if you did it it would be the next best thing. No pressure. It's on 253W 125st. The other thing is Lombardi's ("the very first-and still the best-Pizzarie in the USA.) it's at 32 Spring St between Mulberry and Mott St. The other thing-and this might be more me than you? But still interesting, is Manny's Music Store on 156w 48st between 6 & 7 Ave. It's the original music super store. Four floors of guitars, drums etc but the best thing is the walls are covered with photo's off all the music stars who have bought instruments there along with personal messages to Manny. Considering the store has been there since the 1930's! Anybody who is anybody is there.
I'm sure you have loads to do anyhow but just suggestions. Can't wait to see your smiling face again-Not long now!!!! Exciting for us but the end of this particular U.S chapter for you. Will post you soon about B&H so keep checking matey.

Back again !!! Day off today so tried to get lots of little bits done whilst manoeuvring round Joe killing lots of underworld creatures from a very squeaky computer chair. he has an interview in the morning for a labouring job with 'you could be next - scaife' - so we are keeping our fingers crossed for him. think the poor lad is bored out of his tree especially now all his friends have gone back to school etc. think he'll be thrilled to bits if he gets a start.
wondering if you'll take up any of dad's suggestions - they do sound fab. i forget that he has been there quite a lot.
Jade came round last night to talk computers and have a chat too. it was lovely to see her and carl and i walked her home at about 12.30. think she is getting very excited about uni and i'm really excited for her. wot a lot we all have to catch up on.
hope the train times are ok. allowed time for some delay, luggage collection and a gentle trip to kings X. i haven't paid for that part of the journey but i have credited your card with the main fare so it's all paid for and not owing - if you see wot i mean. i'll pick you up in Skipton just after 3 - OMG, OMG, OMG. wot will i be like !!!!!!
natty back at school today. seems to have enjoyed himself as nathan always does. he's getting very excited about seeing you. i do think you'll think he's grown.
right, i'm in for an early night. can't believe that by this time next week you will have been home for 3 nights !!
forest gumps place looked ace - wot did you have to eat ?? Food again !!!
loves ya from the bottom of my new specs.
Mutty xxxx
